Description

We have an opening for an evening / night forklift driver, the role is an 8 hour shift between the hours of 6pm - 2am.

Daily Duties

• Scanning, unloading/reloading of freight from inbound/outbound trunk vehicles (mainly double decks)
• Strategic and safe reloading of outbound freight
• Freight bay allocation and sortation
• Manage inbound and outbound manifests on our system (training will be provided)
• Incident reporting
• Maintain good housekeeping practices
• Knowledge and responsibility for safety
• Must be flexible in your duties

Requirements

• The candidate would preferably come from a similar freight handling background with at least 2-3 years’ experience.
• Requires a recent up to date counterbalance forklift license
• Manual handling certificate
• GDP training an advantage
• Must be hardworking and willing to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland
